This item is an Islamic prayer strand called a tasbih (also known as a misbaha or subha), featuring glass or natural stone beads separated by metallic spacers. Visual Identification Bead Style: The main strand consists of oval, barrel-shaped beads with a distinct purple and white marbled, crackled pattern flecked with red and orange spots, likely painted on glass to look like natural agate. The Imām / Minaret: On the right side, the elongated cylindrical bead is the imām (or nisane), which serves as the structural focal point marking the beginning and end of a prayer cycle. Tassel Attachment: Directly attached to the imām is a woven black and red cord tassel.
